Ackroyd, Norman

Norman Ackroyd studied at Leeds College of Art and subsequently at the Royal College of Art, London. He has had many solo exhibitions, both in Britain and internationally. His public mural commissions, produced in etched stainless steel or bronze, include Lloyds Bank, London; British Airways, Birmingham Airport; Freshfields, London; Tetra Pak, Stockley Park, Heathrow; and a bronze mural for the Main Hall of the British Embassy, Moscow. He was elected a Royal Academician in 1991 and was made Senior Fellow, Royal College of Art in 2000
